Every THING Every DAY

What are you doing with Every THING, Every DAY? I cannot imagine having nothing at all, and so I put everything to use by maintaining inspiration. It's a little way to say thank you and be grateful for Every THING, Every DAY that surrounds my life. You should try it!

Stop this Train

"No; I'm not colored blind. I know the world is black and white. Try to keep an open mind but, I just can't sleep on this tonight..." -John Mayer from the lyrics of "Stop this Train"

In life, there are always going to be things that you don't agree with; things that shake you up; things that break you down and make you act like someone you don't want to be. But it only makes sense. You're not acting differently because you're only human. Life hits us in many ways. The punches can sometimes be like the best fruit punch you've ever tasted or they can give us the bluest black eye you've ever encountered. The good thing is that God never gives us anything we can't handle. That alone gives me clarity; strength to go on and live this life knowing that I can never stop this train...

"Don't know how else to say it; don't want to see my parents go. One generation away from finding life out on my own. So scared of getting older. I'm only good at being young..." -John Mayer from the lyrics of "Stop this Train"

I lost my Mother at age 13. Writing this today, I still can't tell you how I overcame such a tough time. I honestly don't think it was even in my hands. There were so many times that I wanted to give up and just delete myself from the world; times, now, where I sit and ask myself why am I here. But I know the answer to that. I've got to continue the legacy of my Mother. I've got to be positive and make others happy. I've got to write about my life through song, good and bad, love and lack there of. I've simply got to live. My Step-Father is the best thing that has ever happened in my life. For a man to continue to raise children that are not of his blood; I don't ever want to see him go. The joy of knowing that If I were to stop this train, I'm stopping the train for many others, again gives me clarity; strength to go on and live this life knowing that I can never stop this train...

"Stop this train. I want to get off and go home again. I can't take the speed it's moving in. I know I can because now I see I'll never stop this train..." -John Mayer from the lyrics of "Stop this Train"

Last night I was aware that a friend, brother, and band mate of mine is now in the war of his life. The pending divorce of his parents; the complication of miscommunication; the fault of who's to blame. I can only be there for him. I can't tell him how to feel nor should I because we are all different. One thing I will say is that it is not his fault; "Dylan, it's not you're fault." He asked a fellow Mother of the band, "What am I supposed to do? I love them both." She responded, "All you can do is love them." Love is, so far, the realist phenomenon on earth. Love is all that broken relationship needs. Love is the core of the earth. Why else do you think the human kind can not get to it? For my brother, DK; I love you. We love you. You are going to make it out of the war. Know that it could be worse. Know that your parents love you and they never meant for it to happen this way. You do your best to be sure about the person you marry and sometimes it just doesn't work out. It's life. Don't stop this train...

"Once in awhile, when it's good, it'll feel like it should and they're all still around and you're still safe and sound and you don't miss a thing 'til you cry when you're driving away in the dark..." -John Mayer from the lyrics "Stop this Train"

I probably shouldn't be saying this, but I know there are at least 100 people who read my blog posts everyday. But I've got to get this off my chest as a reflection of my own observation of a certain person. She knows who she is. Here goes...

I was right. But you know, I'm not celebrating like I used to, nor am I saying I told you so. Someone else's heartbreak is not something to get pleasure from. I just want to apologize maturely. If you only knew how quick I'd kill to make you happy and keep you smiling; even if it meant lying to you, in which I have in the past so many times about so many things. I was trying to keep you happy and us close together in the worst way and I had no idea how deep of a hole I was digging until that day we let go and it felt like I was six feet under; death on earth. I will say, I never lied to you about loving you; never. It's crazy how something always inspires me to go back to writing about you. With everything that happened last night with my friends parents, God just told me to apologize and at least let you know that everything that happened between us was my fault, not yours. I was immature and greedy. The reason I never spoke to you after it all fell was because I always wanted the next words I said to you to be my apology. I just couldn't come around to it until now. I am sorry. I understand if you never want to talk to me again. But please understand that I never lied to you about loving you and though I have a wonderful girlfriend at the moment, I still think about you and how I hurt you. We all want love and to be loved and sometimes we do wrong, out of immaturity, thinking we're getting closer to love. If we do right and we're still not loved, then the saying still stands; don't give up and never stop this train...

This concludes the book you the reader knew as "Everything." The title of the book is now called "War" and with the up and onward success of my career, the book will soon be published and copies will be made for readers to have a book of their own.

Be Grateful For Your Mother

It's been 6 whole years since the only angel in my life passed on and into heaven. I'm sure she's with the best of the best, high-fiving folks in the likes of Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks. Praying, I hope she can work some magic with Luther Vandross and have him send his record company my way. But seriously, I miss you Mom, so much. I am taken and grateful for your love. It is not every day that I think of you. No. It is every moment of the day. Thank you for being the best guardian angel an earthly human son could have...

Last night, I set out to compose a video in honor of my Mother. Before I get too heavy, I will have you, the reader, to know that I won't write too long this time. I don't want to be the barrier of tears and sad thoughts. Anywhom; the video, for me, kills two birds with one stone in that it honors her and promotes for the ROCK THE MARROW campaign/show that we (my band and I) are playing on July 17th...

What are you doing to help the cancer society? You have no clue. Well, on the 17th of this month, bring your most giving friends and family members to Calvary Assembly in Winter Park, Florida, to help me, my band, and many other artist, Rock The Marrow. Give blood. Donate your time and a few dollars to this amazing leukemia organization. You will be blessed with great music in return...

To touch more on the only women in my life; Mom I love you and I honestly thought that I wouldn't be able to survive without your love. But I'm still alive, and with ever chance I get, I never hesitate to feel your touch. Thank you for being you and having the strength to raise a crazy kid like me. Look at me now. Do I make you proud? Am I doing all that you wish? I live for you. I love for you. With all that I am accomplishing, I have not forgotten your wants for grandchildren. I promise to bring a nice girl home soon, and not just to have her pet the dog, but to marry her. If you could only see what I'm doing while physically holding my hand...

Dave is doing well. He misses you dearly. I am so grateful for him and thank you, Mom, for marrying the most amazing Father in the world. One day, this music thing will make me lots of money and I'll take care of Dave, no problem. Until then, I live for your inspiration and I will not let the music stop...

I visited you for the first time today. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. I cried. My tears hit the soil around you. Maybe my tears will help beautiful violets grow. After all, they were your favorite. Rest in peace Mom. Life on earth ends, but love is endless everywhere the spirit goes. I'll see you in heaven. Tell God I said I'm going to change the world...

Friends, BE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR MOTHER...

Be Sent

This month of me is nearly over. I'm going to miss it, yet it's never gone nor ending. From it, I've learned that even in my every day music schedule, that I can still have some free me time. Like right now. Last night I got to witness over 60 of my closest friends wish upon my opinion and what I thought of them in a positive way. Let me tell you; I love you all and I enjoyed every second of it. Truly and deeply, I am grateful for your presence in my life. So it seems, facebook has something more positive then simple communication. One can actually make love to another by way of a few sentences. Sweet...

Before anything, I am blessed. Blessed to be alive. Blessed to love. Blessed to be loved. Blessed to remain inspired. Blessed to sing with the birds and wake up to the gorgeous sunlight. Try this; one morning when you awake, say to the sun, "You are hot!" See if it doesn't repay you with a beautiful rest of the day. I am a witness. On a note more socially based, could you imagine being homeless? We all say no, I'm sure. I personally could not imagine living in the street and without my home. From the ground up, my Mother and Step-Father built a loving foundation that I am so thankful for. They raised three stubborn children and continued to provide for us. I say to them, "Thank you both, Ma and Pop. I love you. There is no me without you nor is there a roof over my head." My point in this is to say that I would rather have cancer than be homeless. If God gave me cancer, I would not be afraid nor shaken. I would simply continue living life as if it were my last. I would not wish to be hospitalized nor catered to. I would continue making music until my voice was deactivated by the harm of the disease. I would continue to praise God and give thanks for the next day; Just as my Mother did and would want me too. With cancer, you begin to see just how important you are. People latch onto you like velcro to cotton. When my Mother was diagnosed, it had become evident to me that the world as a whole, loved her all the way to her death. If she were homeless, I am not sure if the outcome would've been the same simply because when folks are homeless, societies first assumption is that they, the homeless, are at the fault of their own misfortune...

My past two Sunday evenings and nights were spent at the beautiful Northland Church service. I got to listen to a very powerful speaker in Mr. Vernon Rainwater. He spoke directly to me, almost as if no one else was there. When I closed my eyes to pray, that was where my imagination took me; just me, him, and the good Lord. After one of the services, I got to do some great community work with the BE SENT organization. I helped fill toiletry bags that would later be dished out to the homeless. Before I could even begin helping, I was given a super cool organic t-shirt with the organizations logo on it. I just might give it to a homeless person. I have plenty and I'm sure someone with little to none wouldn't mind one or another...

Moral of the message; help in anyway that you can. When you think you've done enough, you can do so much more. We can all make so much more of our opportunities. Friends; BE SENT...

Fireworks in July

Good morning. Good Afternoon. Good Evening. Good Night. Friend, hoping that at whatever time you are reading this, that you receive it at full force.. I'd like to tell you that I am grateful for you. Why? You are beautiful. It is impossible not to be grateful for the beauty of the good Lords creation. Okay, I'll stop flattering and rambling on. I've got things worth thousands to discuss about the very promising month of July...

July July July. After taking the month of June off, it is great to see that the agency is still persistent and doesn't forget about my band and i. Trust that the we were at the edge of our seats; getting asked to play shows for June and having to say no was never easy. But it was only fair to us. We all, in the band, needed some time to revise ourselves and our music. So we did, and status by status on our global websites, we began to realize how much more attention we were receiving. Felt great to get the e-mail that said, "You have been invited to perform at The 5th Annual I4 Festival on July 4th..."

Speaking of which; the event is going to be held at Austin's Coffee Shop's outside stage in Winter Park, Florida, beginning at noon. Pre-sale tickets are up for grabs right now for just $5 and can be personally delivered to you by any band member you wish to receive them from. Join us, for a promising event of great music, all day...

With so much to look forward to, I have to constantly stop and just think. I'll always be the one asking, "How can we make our upcoming events even better than planned?" It is just the right thing to do. The music will be fine, no doubt, but how will the overall show be? With that asked ahead of time, a few of the band boys and I revised a plan to head out to the hottest orlando Outlet stores in order to do what is called "Busking." Busking is a form of promoting by way of street singing. One of the best tools to spark a firework in a strangers eye...

Okay, so more on upcoming events. Although I'll save the details for a later time, I figure they should still be read off: July 9th at The Plaza Theatre (sshhh that is not to be shared with the agency!), July 17th at Calvary Assembly of God for The Rock The Marrow Concert (Live on PBS/NPR), and July 31st at Lyrica for the N.O.O.B.S. Concert (date subject to change).

Just a thought for inspiration: If you are a lover who thinks not to be a fighter, you are still a fighter considering you will always fight for what you love. If not, you wouldn't fight at all. Create a frame for the picture though. Be realistic. The person on the other side of the battle may not think you are worth fighting for. Actions yell. Words whisper. For my friends, especially Ebony Aside, Courtney Skiko, and Jen Jenkins; be sure to create FIREWORKS IN JULY...

Did I create some s*@# or THE s*@#?

So the title is a tad outrageous you say? Eh, I beg to differ. Ask yourself a simple question. What are you creating in your day to day life? Believe it or not, there are things you create beyond your control. Whether they're good or bad depends on how you give your attention to these creation while in the process. And boy, it is a process...

Everyday this month, I tried to do something new. I began to ponder on exactly how I could go about doing so, but I noticed later that it became natural. Almost like a crack addict being addicted to heroin; only with me, I find my addiction point with real life and reality. Did that make sense? I hope. I'm not talking s*@#, I swear. But this cat will be...

Kudos to my lead guitarist's cat for cleaning the toilet boil. Fritz is the name. He's a manx. He just created the inspiration for this blog post. But indeed, he had no idea I was spying on his addiction. Ssshh. I created a stalker for him (whisper voice). Anywhom; lets be serious. We are all creators of love. I made a goal to create a relationship with a nice girl who is beautiful, inside first, before out. By creating that goal, I have automatically created a mind set. See what I mean? It's second nature...

"To be a good part of a whole, you have to be a good part of yourself." Kristen Cevallos said that. The fellow who bit bits and pieces of pretzels to shape the letters of his name is that of the quote above. He's taught me oh so much. It's funny because I dropped out of college just to learn the theory outside of it. Cristian Faustmann has created so much of my skill. He truly has created THE s*@#...

Now, run along and don't forget to ask yourself, daily, "What have I created?" Or you could spice it up and bring it from the gut with the same question, in other words; "DID I CREATE SOME S*@# or THE S*@#?"

Revising Vision

June has been epic in so many ways, already, and I'm still at the front end of the month. I feel like I'm finally celebrating the whole world in the realist way. About a week ago, I cleaned my home just because; not even realizing that it actually needed to be done. Afterwards, I felt scrumcious; that, in a way that made me hungry to keep up on my ask at home. So from that, morning after morning, now, I make my bed as soon as I arise. I don't remember the last time (before this month) that I've made my bed. My Mother's touch is truly rubbing off onto me and it feels grandnificent. Now, I've taken all this lively celebration out into the congregation...

3 graduations; I was in attendance at some glorious student ceremonies. I heard some amazing speakers and met a cruise boat load of new friends; some who knew who I was through music, before I could even introduce my name. What I stumbled upon in thought from those events was that it is indeed a small world. I finally see that we are more than able to give everything a chance. People say they can't do "this" and "that" simply because they just have yet to try. Coming from a love situation where all of my positivity was shot down, I know what it's like to take the bullets from the stubborn one who denies excessively and the nay-sayer. That's all okay, just not for me. you must try and try some more. I love music and what it's brought to the table thus far. I wonder what is to come. I'm back on the market and moving on...

Moral of the message is simple; let nothing stop you from getting up and doing your dance that celebrates life.

Make happiness habitual. Taunt negativity with a smile. In the end you are contagious and will have a gang of folks doing the same.

It just takes a bit of REVISING VISION...

Grandnificent Affair

6:39 a.m. and I'm awaken by the sure sound of my stomach. Breakfast: cold turkey with swiss cheese, natural shredded cheddar, spicy mustard, on (one) honey wheat bagel, and (two) whole wheat bread. So yummy and made full of love. Twenty minutes later, and there screams the stove, alarming me that my tea water is hot and ready for an orange pekoe bag and honey. Stir her up and I'm alive and present for the day...

It's funny how this month is about me for me and my realizations. I've already made progress in ways that I needed most. Telling someone that you love them everyday is a great way to send a sign saying, "I'm thinking of you." or "You've got a deep and special place in my heart." And by the way; life would not be the same without the give and take actions and by that I mean that, in many ways, it's so true; love is pain said in another sweet and sexy language. I am so attentive to learn and speak it...

Writing a song with a title like "Grandnificent Affair" was superb and interesting. What the hell could I possibly be talking about? For me, it was just a statement of gratitude; saying that you might not yet have everything you want in your life, but you've got life. Celebrate life everyday. Wake up one day and decide to randomly grow your hair our. I did and I'm almost sure that the more it grew, the more knowledge I knew. Such a GRANDNIFICENT AFFAIR...

A Month of Me

In the recent words of my new friend, Alex Kinsey, "I like where I am at right now." The month of May was dedicated to sharing music all over the state of Florida. My band and I took every challenge and flipped any and every negative energy into a positive force. I love my team of Martians and already, we've made unforgettable memories.

We sold 220 copies of our EP Album; out of a total of the 300 that were printed and pressed. Pretty damn good if you ask me. We were also called back to play at a few venues. Had we had time and an open day, we wouldn't have had to say no. All and all, I personally never expected my first tour to go as swell. We did all that we wanted to and more. Thank God...

I'm home now and have been for about five days. I'm writing this to make a connection with the reader and I; to show that it is okay to take a break and give some time to yourself. This month of June is all about me. I an finally get back to my home roots like, cooking my vegies and home grown foods, drinking my hot water from my home tap, cleaning what is needed, taking my dog for long poop walks and feeding him treats...

and so on. Remember though, take a break to get better. For me, gaining realization is my primary focus in taking this break. I don't mean that in a way towards changing my actions of optimism; it just means I can be a little harder on myself in order to make my dreams more real. I can focus on making myself the greatest I can be, in every way by making this month A MONTH FOR ME...

My Love is Beyond Me

I love people. I love the entire world. I have no hate for a single human being. I am at peace with the men and women of the government, war or no war, because the fact of the matter is, we, the people, go through the wars of our lives' every day. I am a prime example of that last statement...

Truthfully, I am perfectly lonely and tired of being alone. I smile at that thought. But, perfectly lonely is just a use of personal success as a crutch for something (someone) that is missing. Tired of being alone is just as it is quoted. Like said before, I hate no one. Women; I'd love to get to know you all on a personal level, date you, grow and get closer, fall in love, and marry you. Sadly for you, my heart still has a home that's in the midst of being either torn down or reconstructed...

And you mam; I don't know where to stop this whole writing thing. But, Iw ill say, that I am obviously your number one in many categories if not love. You became spiritual through me. You became inspired by me and began writing. You took a risk; with me and for me. With anyone else, you would've never seen the day that you were praying and writing your feelings in the same moment. My love for you has molded you and made your heart better. Use it instead of you mind, because your mind is what has you lost. Maybe then, you'll return home. My love for you remains here. MY LOVE IS BEYOND ME...

Feel This and Respond

Everywhere I travel to, it seems as if the road is meant for only two. More than anything, I attempt to paint the picture in my dreams where it's me and my love. I possess so much material that it's almost too much at times. One thing I know and believe, though, is that there can never be too much love. In other words, my thoughts portraits remain of you...

Is there a reason for my lack of concern toward our situation. Two folks carrying the same hearts but living different lives; at this point and time. But there is always later. It's said that the distance between loved ones is what captures them running back into each others arms later, yet faster than before. If you could only consider the two of us. I'm clearly not over you and you, clearly not through with me. We'll cross that bridge again someday...

I recall a memory that speaks rhythms and beats in my heart. I know you remember my childish reaction after I held your face and kissed your lips as you held my excited body. And I still couldn't stop holding your hands because had I, I would have fainted from shock and disbelief. And as you finally start your car, through your review vision, I'm jumping, screaming, dancing. I'm in 2nd grade again. Only this time, I'm with the love of my life and not the friend of my day. You felt it too. And you still do. Which is why you shouldn't just read this; you should FEEL THIS AND RESPOND...

Imagine That

Imagine a world full of limitless and unconditional love from man to women in its entirety. Imagine the sun and the moon sharing the sky at the same time.

Imagine the worlds leading company without any management or better yet a country without a president. Imagine, with or without all these possibilities, how much harder people would work to gain their needs and wants...

Imagine me writing a song entitled, "Somebody Feels Like I Do," instead of its contrary. Imagine me never meeting you, the love of my life. Imagine me sharing the same thoughts and dreams as the dreamer who dreams of me. Imagine my music without its lyrics. Imagine me building your dream house for our future, as was done in "The Notebook."

Imagine me without fairy-tale confidence. Imagine me without my heart; you...

Imagine me, with or without all these possibilities, and how much harder I would work to gain my needs and wants. I believe it's safe to say, though, that it's too late to imagine a few of these considering some are now a reality and I am already working my ass off for dreams and imaginations. Imagine me in a world where failure was really the new second chance. If that were the case of my reality, I'd ask for no other blessing, because then, with love, I'd start all over again. IMAGINE THAT...

It's Just a Preview

Miami, Tampa, and Gainesville, all have copies of our new EP. It's amazing to see how far it's gone in just three days, literally. Show to show, we continue to learn and realize that we are novel to this. Though, we know it's our time, we also know that this is just the beginning...

With that said, I must inform and re-announce to the public that the new record is without a doubt, not near the finishing product. For it is just a demo; a collection of songs that will be remastered to perfection and placed on an actual album. Although this EP will be in stores and on iTunes, for the buyer, please note that you're listening to a rough draft or something that is going to be better than great. As a lover of music, I constantly take into consideration that I am my best judgement, aside from the most high. I am my own perfectionist. I either love or hate myself and/or what I am doing and with my heart and soul, I passionately love this. With each inspiration, through my love and life experiences, I will be continually pissing out songs like kidney stones, for years and years to come...

Take note of where I've come from and where WE are now. I love my band. This tour means war and it's a fight, everyday, to grab the attention of the audiences, and we've got weapons of mass destruction, making it impossible for us to be stopped. So all that you see, from the tour to the (ROUGH DEMO) EP; IT"S JUST A PREVIEW...

Don't Want it to Ever Stop

I'm in a new spectrum now. It's come and go and gone from here. It's such a pace to keep up with but I; we, have no problem running this amazing race. With the grace of the almighty most high, more than our minds, our hearts remain alive. New stage this and new city that; it's all bout the potential of approach and where your passion can take you...

It's been such a great and long day,and the days seem to never end, even with my eyes closed during sleep. I honestly have no complaints. Just look around me. Look around us. Beside the love within me, I've got even the least kind of love with nature. A common picture taker, in which I am, I never mind the new scene. Our show is in the ghetto for God's sake. Looks like we'll need to RAP up the set...

Almost there. That feeling of, "Gosh, are we there yet" constantly creeps in my mind. It's the anxiety, but what medicates that part of me is knowing that I must slow down and just listen. Be slow to be better if that makes sense. Take all the time you can to learn something new, even if it's patience. After all it is the virtue that stands for discovering love. I always seem to mess that up because I never know my own status. What, where am I?...

The tour is going just fine and everything is perfect. Lets give it all to the most high and roll with the tide. I DON"T WANT IT TO EVER STOP...

Thank You

Belief. Such a powerful word, yet often frowned upon. You have the folks that ask, "Who would have thought?" and the others that say, "No way!" I wonder what was said about me...

I'd like to take this time out to thoroughly thank the almighty creator, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. With that said, today is my Mother's birthday. May she rest in peace. If I could talk to her face to face, I would look in her in the eyes and ask her if I am granting all of her wishes for me. I love and miss her and I doubt that there isn't a minute in life that doesn't relate to her. I thank her, primarily, for being the paramount inspiration for my EP Album, in which released today. For it is my gift to her and more so, it is important that it be honored in her name...

When writing this EP Album, I was timid. I didn't know whether or not my emotions would be taken seriously. The albums screenplay, if you will, goes as follows: The first five songs are written for a very special girl in my life. The last one, "You Made Me That Way," is the anthem. It's the song that has an imaginary hand at the bottom of the stack, and it's pointing up to the other five songs in the action that explains how I was made to love and embrace love and the result of my Mother's teachings resulted in songs that are summarized by "You Made Me That Way."

If you are tagged to this note/blog/post, know that you are beyond spectacular to me. For those who I forget and forgot, just remember that my heart is not my mind. In other words, I love you, please forgive me. You all carried me and you continue to carry me. Without your righteous faith and ongoing belief, this whole music scene for me would have just been a phase. Thank you for thinking of me. Thank you for giving me your love and kindness in infinite amounts. You are loved by me and you have my gratitude. It's been a year and seven months since the first day I picked up a guitar. It all happened so quickly, and suddenly I'm standing in this puddle of success, and as I look down at the water, you all stand behind me in the reflection. There is no stopping now. The tour begins today...

Don't ever go away. You keep me high minded. THANK YOU...

No Rush

I am grateful for all the beautiful people who have inspired me to write this album. I love you dearly and I thank you for continuing to be you and blessing me. The album is finished now and releases on May 5th, the first day of my tour. I cannot begin to think of where I would be without you. I shall never rush into that train of thought...

Playing shows on a consistent level has been such a blast. This tour is all about love at a frequent pace. by that, I mean, this will determine my love endurance for music. Traveling has no issue with me. Without it, I could not share the music from my heart. Although I stand in a puddle of awesome feelings, there are still a few things that I'd love to have and do. Well, maybe more than just a few...

1. Get a girlfriend.
2. Be in love.
3. Make love.
4. Surf

All of these wants are more like necessities considering I have the worst luck with them. I am not nervous, at all. I just feel that I am ready to take on a world of spiritual love. It is what I write about. 1-3 are a DUH and a given. But four; four is for cleansing. Washing away all the past love pains with the crashing waves of the ocean. Becoming brand new in a love sense. Yes, I can't wait to tell my love story and be the next great fairy-tale movie's main character, but I'm in NO RUSH...

With My Smile I'm at Best

Yes! Stoked and on the writing train again. As I sit in a mall full of foreign folk, I still feel like a normal civilian. Indeed I should. This is absolute life as we all know it; success is a word among us and it's what we strive for. Shall we call it a feeling, it'll later be latched onto our hearts like a loved one. Anyway, I was up this morning before sunrise and I had the breath taking chance of listening to the rain and also learning from it. Learning from it you say? Yes. Think of it this way: The sky does what we're afraid to do; cry. While we struggle to keep our eyes dry, we are saved; saved by the source in which is the sun. The sun keeps our eyes from tearing up at torn moments. This is all good, but be thankful and give gratitude to your new and awesome friends, cloud 1 through 9. Okay, I shall continue with what I was originally aiming at. Smile...

So many places and faces that I have never seen in this world. I've seen a good enough amount to know that a persons' judgement on appearance factors in a great way with how comfortable they are. For example, I wore what I like to call the hippie workload dress code today. I begin with my shoes.

This are some pretty sweet old Nikes that were purchased my freshman year in high school. I believe these were stolen from my garage by my neighbor but of course then, my brother stole them back. Anyway, they're still going strong, plaid and all. I continue with my jeans.

The "Moften" jeans. Moften is a word I created to make the words and meaning of "worn more than often." These jeans are my Abercrombie and Fitch top model jeans. Yea right! I purchased these jeans my 10th grade summer while working for the A&F company. Big no no, but we won't go there. They've been washed MAYBE twice and they're super comfortable for my buns and package. I am grateful for moftens. I continue with my upper attire now.

I don't remember where I got this shirt actually. I just know that it's pretty pretty and it still fits me. I guess in the end that's all that matters. Oh, and the tie; I like it. Bought it for a sweet Halloween party. Good times. So how do you like my outfit?

I reveal all of this too you because, for me, as you can see, it isn't the apparel appearance that makes or breaks me. Look at the very first picture in this blog post and tell me what I am doing...

Smiling. You can share so much love. You can make so much love. You can share so much peace. You can make so much peace. By all means, with your smile, conquer the world. I'm living it and I'm loving it. This is how I carry myself. WITH MY SMILE I'M AT BEST...

Don't Be Alarmed

What is one's constant question of the day and is it often answered? Are we worried or afraid of what is yet to come? We shouldn't be, in all seriousness. Death is yet another word for failure and failure is to another chance, depending what kind of God you serve. There's a feeling called ambition; something that positively eats away at you; a feeling so right and strong that you can taste it on your tongue. It often leaves the effected with a face like this...

Don't be so shocked when one day you see my white smile, big eyes, and curly hair on your television screen. It's a promise. I cannot go wrong with going for the dream. At this point in time, Everything is Perfect. Today, I came to the conclusion that school is no longer where I will continue life's education. Instead, I will learn from the everyday inspirations. I now have more time to pick up after myself, write at a more frequent pace, and take random, gorgeous photos of things that appeal to my open eye. Like these...

I still have yet to touch base with my Step-Father nor the rest of my family, but heck, all I would and could say to them is what my Mother often said to me; "Dreams are often lost and unfulfilled but ones confidence is (more) often set in stone." To you, the readers: If at any point in the rest of your awesome life, you hear the President say my name in the name of love and music, DON'T BE ALARMED...

That's Why God Created the Dream

What a week. I've been exposed, terribly, yet I am thankful for it. These past 7 days have been the definition of a hill and how it rises as you walk on it, and it falls as your walk continues...

The things that ate me up were delicate to my heart before mind, and I stand in shock still. Feeling replaced is never the best feeling. I believe it comes from being left alone enough times, beginning with my biological Father forsaking me at the age of one. Then, the death of my Mother felt like neglect from the almighty God. And last, the leaving of my Brothers to go live a better life out west; broke me down just a tad more. Now this. A beautiful girl at the tip of my fingers but also the frame of my heart and world; being held and tendered by another guy. I will only say this more; once a best friend of the opposite sex gets a boyfriend or girlfriend that isn't you, you have been replaced and you will drift slowly but surely. This is the reason for my complete cancellation to not let my feeling of false carelessness continue...

Last nights show was a P.O.S. and better yet, the poop icing on the cake for the week. It was unlike any other. Explain to me why we travel to Astor, Florida, two hours from my homeland, play what was by far the best show my band and I have ever played; then, the next day, we arrive back in Orlando to play a show at Rollins and only 7 of our band friends show up. It's not our fault at all. We blame the poor organization of the show advisers at Rolllins College and their lack of promotional care. Yet, I thank them for showing us that we are so much better than that and that they now belong in our category of time wasted. I would also like to thank them for paying us all $350.00 to play for a crowd of chairs...

Sorry, I had to get that one off of my chest. If not, my heart would have suffocated. On a happier note; my brothers are in town and I love them. I missed them so much. They are my sense of peace and hilarity. I'm still standing.

I'm looking forward to the days ahead. I'm going to be better, every moment I have any doubt. Love will find me later. As for now, I've got to leave the world with mouths and eyes open wide. Everything is Perfect. I was shaken, but like any brick house, I am mighty, rebuilt, and better looking. I'm going for it; all out, balls to the wall. THIS IS WHY GOD CREATED THE DREAM...

Love Brings New Things

I'm writing again, finally. After about a week or so since my last blog entry, I have this little delicate moment of space to just sit and write. Next to me is an amazing salad that I plan to scarf down from lettuce to tomato.

I'm grateful for all else that is around me, and I'm loving the new blessings the most high is pouring down...

Though I miss my friends at times dearly, I always remember that they have a special place in my heart. The heart lives for love of fellowship and they will always be my source of immediate strength. While on my journey to become a success, I remain busy and never stagnate so that I'm always trying to improve. I'm used to the every moment of being occupied and it keeps my brain fresh. With all do respect, I am better. With that said, I've gotten so good, that I have actual music stories to share, now, about what is up ahead. Shall I start with mine and my bands MAY FLA Tour?...

Listed above are just a few of the dates/cities/shows that we will be hitting while on this tour. I am so excited to finally be participating in a 100% real tour. I say the statement before because, unlike my tours when I was gigging with my brothers, for this tour, I didn't have to work as hard. Meaning, all of the aspects of this tour were/are scheduled, paid for, and planned out by a great promotional group entitled, PNR Promotions; from the transportation to the equipment.

Talk about a tremendous blessing!...

For those who did not know and/or are unaware, mine and my band's first EP Album hits iTunes as soon as we get back from our tour. In fact, take a look at the picture for the album cover.

Give it late until late May before the public can begin to purchase it. It's actual release date is April 25th and will be sold at all of our venues/shows on tour. If you beautiful people would like to purchase it ahead of time, feel free to travel to one of the tour shows. We would love to see you there...

Okay before I get ahead of myself and begin to spill too many beans and jinx my luck, I'm going to put this meeting of show and tell to a halt. You all are in my prayers and loved is what you are. Always remember that you are blessed and also, that LOVE BRINGS NEW THINGS...

Mai je être à l'aise

The poorest person can be the richest person at times. It’s all about the value of what we value. Love, peace, happiness, embrace, cherish, fellowship; all seen in the heart of a hippie. For the person who has little money, still has the greatest wealths in the world...

For the past four months, I’ve done some major exploring on the grateful side. By growing into the caveman look, with my full head of hair including facial, and eating healthy from scratch like a diabetic vegan, I’ve been able to challenge my way of wealth making. It has allowed me to learn how to compromise and improvise, not just on stage, but on the stage of my life. With my hands, I can reach out to the those rich in money, and tell them that love and peace among the folks in arms length is the richest wealth in the world. And there I was, my freshman year in high school; the sports addict who wanted a million dollars every millisecond.

I’m better for it now and more open to what really matters and makes matter...

Relax. Be real. Be whole. Be You. You can kick rocks and still be comfortable. You can live in a doghouse with your cat and be comfortable. Everything is Perfect either way. Your values often make you who you are. Give thanks. Give love. Never Give up. Keeping your heart before your mind is golden. Let the mind do the school/homework of today and the finances for tomorrow. Your heart carries all the values and feelings. May you feel and be comfortable. Mai je être à l'aise...
